Refunds, Returns & Digital Products

MuseBiz is committed to delivering high-quality music, education and creative resources.
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, returns and replacements are handled across our digital products, courses, books, merchandise and other products.

1. Our Approach

At MuseBiz, we want every customer to feel confident purchasing from us. We create and supply vocal arrangements, Tonic Sol-fa resources, sheet music, audio practice materials, books, courses, merchandise and other creative products.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any legal rights you may have under applicable UK consumer law. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, repair, replacement, cancellation or other remedy, those rights continue to apply.

2. Digital Products

Digital products may include downloadable sheet music, Tonic Sol-fa scores, vocal arrangements, SATB practice stems, audio files, ebooks, digital workbooks, courses, apps, digital memberships and other electronically supplied resources.

Digital Downloads & Immediate Access

Because many MuseBiz digital products are supplied immediately after purchase, you may be asked at checkout to expressly agree to immediate access and acknowledge that you will lose your statutory right to cancel once supply of the digital content begins. Where you provide that acknowledgement, you will not normally be entitled to cancel simply because you have changed your mind after access has begun.

Faulty, Corrupted or Incomplete Digital Products

If a digital product is corrupted, materially defective, incomplete, unavailable, or does not conform to its description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, provide a corrected or replacement file. Where the law requires a refund, we will provide the applicable statutory remedy.

Failed or Missing Downloads

If you have paid for a digital product but cannot access your files, please contact us before requesting a refund. We will first attempt to restore access, provide a fresh download link or otherwise resolve the technical issue.

3. Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same digital product more than once, please contact us with your order details. Where duplicate purchases are confirmed, we may refund the duplicate transaction or provide an appropriate account credit, subject to the circumstances of the purchase.

4. Physical Products & Merchandise

MuseBiz may in future offer physical products including printed books, apparel, choir merchandise, music-related products and other physical goods.

Faulty or Misdescribed Goods

If a physical product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer standards, please contact us. Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, we may provide a repair, replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy.

Change of Mind

For online purchases of physical goods, consumers may have a statutory cancellation period. Where a cancellation right applies, the relevant product must normally be returned in accordance with the applicable cancellation requirements. Certain products may be excluded from cancellation rights where permitted by law.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.

5. Books & Printed Music

Printed books, workbooks, music collections and other physical publications are treated as physical goods. If an item arrives damaged, defective or materially different from its description, please contact us promptly so that we can arrange the appropriate remedy.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies to an online purchase, we will provide the applicable cancellation and return arrangements.

6. Courses, Apps & Digital Learning Products

MuseBiz may offer online courses, educational programmes, apps, digital training systems, memberships and other learning products.

The cancellation and refund terms applicable to these products will depend on how the product is supplied. Where digital content or services are made available immediately, the checkout process may require acknowledgement of immediate supply and the resulting effect on statutory cancellation rights.

If a course, app or digital learning product is technically defective or does not conform to its description, please contact us so that we can investigate and provide the appropriate remedy.

7. How Refunds Are Processed

Where MuseBiz agrees that a refund is due, refunds will normally be made to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless another arrangement is agreed or required by law.

The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account can depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Important: A refund confirmation from MuseBiz does not necessarily mean that the funds will appear in your account immediately. Banking and payment-provider processing times may vary.

8. How to Request a Refund, Return or Replacement

Please contact MuseBiz before sending any physical item back or initiating a payment dispute where possible.

Please include:

  • Your name.
  • Order number or purchase reference.
  • The product concerned.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Photographs or screenshots where relevant.

Providing this information helps us resolve issues quickly and prevents unnecessary delays.

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If we have confirmed that a refund has been issued but you cannot see it in your account:

  1. Check your original payment method or bank statement.
  2. Allow reasonable processing time for your payment provider.
  3. Check whether the refund has been returned to another payment method associated with the transaction.
  4. Contact MuseBiz if the refund still has not appeared.

10. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If there is a problem with an order, we encourage customers to contact us first so that we can investigate and resolve the issue directly. This does not remove or restrict any statutory rights you may have, nor does it prevent you from contacting your payment provider where appropriate.
